Responsibilities

• Ensuring the accuracy of on-air timing based on the daily programming schedules.
• Monitoring the quality of all technical aspects related to programming transmission.
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of the different subtitled languages transmitted.
• Responsible for the quality control of movies/interstitial materials for HBOA's network transmission.
• Digitising of movies into media server for post production as well as transmission.

Requirements

• ITC and/or Diploma in Info-Communications Technology or Electronic Engineering.
• At least 1-year of operational experience in TV broadcast network with good knowledge operating in broadcast origination facility.
• Ability to work independently and resort to contingencies when problems arise.
• Ability to work on 12-hour shifts.
• Possess general knowledge of computer/networking.
• Bilingual (English and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Affiliate Sales, key responsibilities include:

• Development of graphics design for stunt/campaigns, including print, web, collateral material and environmental/booth design.
• Ensure projects are in line with channel/brand identities and synergizes with the on-air identity for the region.
• Responsible for projects from concept, design, production.
• Establishes the conceptual and stylistic direction for projects and manages their work, working in tandem with vendors such as printers, production artists, premium suppliers for successful completion of projects.
• Select the most appropriate supplier for the project.
• Advisor/QC for monthly materials such as guides, sales packs etc.
• Branding of roadshows, events, press events.
• Monthly EDMs and other including e-banners, e-invites etc.
• Premium design.
• Work closely with ad agency to ensure overall synergy.
• Undertaking special projects as required.

Requirements

• Degree/diploma holder in graphic design or related discipline
• 3 years experience in a design firm
• Mandarin skills an added advantage
• Able to work under pressure and have good interpersonal skills
• Meticulous and must have a good eye for details
• Effective team player with positive work attitude
