The cast is all back in this reunion movie based on the hit TV series. Alan Thicke returns as head of family Dr. Jason Seaver who has to hold the family together when Maggie Malone Seaver gets fired. When the family unites for the elder Seaver's anniversary, Maggie announces she's going to run for a congress against her former boss. Carol Seaver falls in love with Maggie's former boss' campaign manager and everyone ends up fighting, but the family eventually comes back together in a way only TV shows can portray.
