Lisa Reisert (McAdams) is the attractive desk manager of a swanky Miami hotel. While waiting to board her flight home, she meets handsome Jackson Rippner (Murphy) at the Dallas airport who turns out to be her seat mate. But she is horrified when she finds out that Jackson is about to set a diabolical plan into action. Her father Joe (Cox) is being held at gunpoint by one of Jackson's men as hostage. In order for her to save her father's life, Lisa has to re-assign the Deputy Chief of Homeland Security to another room at her hotel so that his assassination can successfully take place. Coupled with turbulent weather, the plane becomes a claustrophobic, nerve-wracking arena for the deadly cat and mouse game that Lisa and Jackson are about to play.
