The Hemophages, a small group of mutants with vampiric super-human powers, have evolved as a result of a biological research gone wrong. They are being targeted by humans, led by a totalitarian dictator, Daxus (Chinlund), who will wipe them out at all costs. Violet (Jovovich), a Hemophage who must rescue a human boy, that may well be her race’s secret weapon to save them from annihilation.
