Alan Parrish is the scion of a wealthy family, whose life was disrupted by the many years spent trapped in the bizarre jungles of a board game he had played as a child with his friend, Sarah. Sarah, traumatized years ago when her friend vanished before her eyes, has spent her whole life trying to convince herself that that terrifying day never happened. Then two children, Judy and her brother Peter, discover the dusty Jumanji board. Each roll of the dice brings them deeper into a jungle nightmare until Jumanji manifests itself in the world of wild animals.
