Two countries, two men, two opposite ways to do the right thing. In strife-torn Northern Ireland, terrorist Rory Devaney does not hesitate to shoot and kill in the name of what he believes. In New York, a cop, Tom O'Meara, will shoot only in the direst of emergencies. The two meet when Rory goes to the Big Apple on a mission. He takes refuge in Tom's house, under the guise of an innocent man. But Rory's world is too violent and Tom's house is too peaceful, and soon this unlikely juxtaposition erupts in conflict.
