With Furio arriving soon, Tony promotes Paulie and Silvio in the organization, and Pussy is reduced to reporting directly to the two new underbosses. Uncle Junior arrives at the Soprano's home to join the welcoming party for Furio, but Carmela shows her contempt by slamming the door in Junior's face. During her own analysis, Dr. Melfi examines the vicarious thrill of danger Tony provides her, as well as her physical attraction to the mob boss. Melfi phones the anxious mobster and invites him to resume therapy. Though he initially refuses, Tony returns to Melfi's office, mildly defiant and easily annoyed.
