You find love in the strangest places. Dutch (Ford) and Kay (Thomas) grieve when an airplane carrying their spouses crash lands, leaving no survivors. Their grief is short-lived. An investigation reveals their spouses were cheating on them. Grief turns to anger. Dutch, a policeman, investigates to uncover the truth. Kay, a congresswoman running for re-election, doesn't want the truth to taint her campaign. Circumstances force Dutch's and Kay's paths to entwine and they end up falling in love.
