Tasked to publicize a film starring two of America's highly publicized film-stars, veteran film publicist Lee Philips (Crystal) has to stage a romantic reunion between Gwen (Zeta Jones) and Eddie (Cusack) despite their break-up after the film. Eddie has turned to an emotional wreck whereas as Gwen has fallen for a new hunk. Lee decides to enlist the help of Gwen’s sister and personal assistant, Kiki (Roberts) to sort things out.
