Ricky Bobby was a pit crew member who rose to become a NASCAR champion. After a frightening crash, he hits rock bottom and loses his nerves, wife and career. He turns to his estranged father, Reese, for a few old racing tricks to conquer his fear of driving and to get back to the top.
