Dr Hannibal 'The Cannibal' Lecter is back. Having escaped from the asylum, he retires to a peaceful life in Florence, Italy, until one of his victims, Verger, rears his disfigured head to seek revenge. And to draw Lecter out of his hiding, he uses a greedy agent and Hannibal's one weakness – FBI Special Agent Clarice Starling. However, in the meantime, a naive Italian cop sees through Hannibal's guise and tries to turn Hannibal over to the authorities for the reward money. Unfortunately, he does not realize just how dangerous this could be.
