The American President hasn't read a newspaper in four years and the hottest reality TV show right now is American Dreamz. On the day of his re-election, Mr President (Quaid) decides to read one, and begins his nervous breakdown as he holes himself up in his room to re-examine his black and white views of the world. To save him, his Chief of Staff makes him the judge on American Dreamz. Meanwhile, Sally (Moore) is an aspiring next instant-celebrity girl who makes it to the finals of American Dreamz together with Omer, a recent immigrant who is actually a terrorist awaiting his activation. Hugh Grant also stars as Martin Tweed, the host of the show.
