In the season finale episode, Christopher is released from a drug rehabilitation center; Furio unexpectedly goes to Italy; Uncle Junior's trial ends in a mistrial after an intimidated witness refuses to find him guilty; and Johnny Sack approaches Tony with a daring plot to have Carmine "whacked". Meanwhile, Tony surprises Carmela with his plan of buying a seaside home, but she's even more astonished and enraged after receiving a call from her unfaithful husband's former mistress. After a heated argument, Carmela tells Tony that she no longer loves him - it's Furio she fantasizes about. Tony moves out of the house and as his marriage crumbles and his business teeters on the edge of disaster, Tony briefly contemplates returning to therapy with Dr. Melfi.
