Dizzy Harrison is a high school geek trying to gain popularity. Instead of becoming popular, he gets himself expelled and lands in jail where he learns the art of being cool from an inmate – a former geek himself.
He enrolls in a new school with a new identity, hoping to start afresh. When Dizzy helps the school football team to win games, the head cheerleader – Danielle, notices him.
Subsequently, things progress smoothly for him until Danielle's jealous boyfriend begins to uncover the dirt on him.
